Breaking News: JAMB Releases 2023 Mop-Up UTME Result for 80,000 Candidates
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) taken by 80,000 candidates on Saturday, May 6, 2023. This came after an emergency board meeting held in Abuja on May 1, 2023, where JAMB arranged the mop-up UTME for candidates who missed the chance to sit for the exams within the period scheduled by the board due to reasons beyond their control.
JAMB had cited three categories of candidates eligible for the mop-up UTME: those who were verified at their centres but could not sit for the examination; those who could not be biometrically verified, and those with mismatched data.
In a bulletin published on Monday, May 8, 2023, JAMB announced that the results of the mop-up UTME have been released, according to the board’s spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin. Candidates can now access their results.
